And that would be a Greek Tragedy
Charlottesville 10-miler training begins tomorrow. I won’t be there; I’ll be spending the next few weeks hobbling uncertainly along on my shin splints, seeing if I can still run the Richmond Half-Marathon in mid-November. W., resident 10-miler ring leader, will the there though, and I have to admit, her enthusiasm sort of makes me wish I could go, too.
W: In preparation, last night before going to sleep I tried to visualize running the 10 miler course. I fell asleep somewhere around the frat houses near the university.
Me: Oh, don’t do that. You’ll trip over a beer can.
