Ye olde jerke
W: So what are you doing this weekend?
Me: Y Chromosome and I are heading up to Maryland to see my sister and her husband, and my sister wants to go to the Renaissance Fair on Saturday. Apparently we’re going to eat turkey legs and macaroni and cheese on a stick. How that is even possible, and what that has to do with the Renaissance I’m not at all sure, but I’m looking forward to it anyway.
W: Macaroni and cheese on a stick?!? I want to come too! Do I have to dress up?
Me: I hope not.
W: Will people call me ‘wench’?
Me: No more so than usual.
